NWTF to Exhibit and Celebrate its 50 years of Conservation During 2023 SHOT Show

EDGEFIELD, S.C. — The year 2023 marks 50 years of mission delivery for the National Wild Turkey Federation, and the conservation organization is set to celebrate its monumental milestone with the shooting, hunting and outdoor industry during the 2023 SHOT Show.

“The NWTF would not be at this juncture in our organization’s history without the support from our volunteers and members, along with dedicated agencies and corporate partners,” NWTF co-CEO Jason Burckhalter said. “It is for this reason, we are excited to exhibit alongside many of these partners and supporters and join with them to celebrate their role in 50 years of mission delivery and continue to build upon our success starting with our goals for this coming year.”

During 2023 SHOT Show, the NWTF will be hosting meetings with industry partners and other supporting organizations to discuss its lofty goals for the calendar year.

The NWTF’s goals for 2023 include:

Achieve 250,000 adult members.

Raise $500,000 for wild turkey research.

Positively impact 1 million acres.

Dedicate $1 million to Education and Outreach Programs.

Raise $5 million to modernize IT infrastructure and invest in people.

Raise $5 million to build $50 million endowment.

It also will be hosting a celebration on Wednesday of SHOT Show in its booth (#41160) reflecting on the incredible legacy, while also focusing on the future and the delivery of the NWTF’s mission for the next 50 years.
