CMP’s Indoor Pistol League Now Available Through April for Affiliated Clubs

Pistol athletes and ranges looking for competitive opportunities during the winter months should look to the Civilian Marksmanship Program’s (CMP) Indoor Pistol League, running now through the end of April 2023.

The Indoor Pistol series is part of CMP’s League Matches (introduced in early 2022) and consists of a 900 Pistol Aggregate match. Participants in the event compete by firing the course at a host range, with scores submitted and averaged within CMP’s online Competition Tracker system. Awards will be distributed to the top competitors from around the country.

CMP’s League Matches feature rifle, pistol and CMP Games events, open to any CMP Affiliated Club. Hosting a CMP League Match:

Interested in hosting? Simply fill out an application at to specify requested matches and dates. Once approved, the match director will be sent a spreadsheet to record official scores that will be compared amongst other participating clubs. Fees for these events include $10 per league to sanction, plus $2 per competitor. Clubs may hold the offered events on a weekly, monthly or bi-monthly schedule.
