Badlands® Re-invents the Binocular Case

Sandy, UTAH – As an originator of the chest-mounted binocular case movement, Badlands introduces an entirely new line of binocular cases. Designed to meet the ever-changing needs of the hunter, the new line is full of features that our customers have asked for in a bino case.

Modularity is the theme with this new line of bino cases, and hunters and other outdoor-observation folks can build out their kit to meet their exact needs. A new wing system gives users a more stable base to mount any accessory, pocket, or pouch. Quick and easy attachment points maintain all the comfort Badlands is known for, but with enhanced customization and loadout options.

One of the most sought-after upgrades by consumers has been a modified lid system. The newly designed lids stay open when preferred and eliminate the magnetic snap of a lid accidentally flipping shut. In addition, attachment point panels are now installed on the side and bottom, maximizing the amount of real estate to connect gear.

Clarity has been brought to the lineup as well, with each bino case offering specific functions and applications to the hunter. Cases come in either two or three sizes, which correlate with the size of bino, with small being perfect for 10x42mm and smaller binos; medium being the fit for up to 12x50mm; and large going all out for 15x56mm binos. In addition, most cases will be available in our solid Mud and Stone colors, as well as Approach and Approach FX camos.

Across the board, the new bino cases feature an upgraded suspension system and harness, which increase airflow and breathability through state-of-the-art stretch mesh and less traditional fabric. All our bino cases are also compatible with the Razco chest holster system, allowing for a handgun to be part of the chest kit.

Bino AXS

The Bino AXS is the perfect choice for the minimalist or whitetail hunter. The open sides allow for quick and quiet deployment with minimal movement. When harsh weather or high-dust environments are not a worry, the Bino AXS is a lightweight option. Quiet, soft liner fabric make the Bino AXS silent enough for any archery situation.

Don’t let the minimalist talk worry you, there is still a mountain of modularity built into the Bino AXS. Side wings feature MOLLE attachment points, as does the bottom. Side elastic exterior pockets and an inner pocket let you keep the vitals like wind powder, optics cloths or cell phones safe yet accessible.

The Bino AXS has an MSRP of $99.

Bino EZ

The Bino EZ is just as the name implies, easy to use and all help with no hassle. This bino case is the answer to customers who have asked for a magnet-free version. Instead, we’ve designed an elastic, adjustable-mouth system with a metal internal frame that snaps open and stays open until the user snaps it shut.

This magnet-free version features the same back panel pocket, elastic side pockets and silent internal liner as all our new bino cases. MOLLE wings and attachment points allow the user to set up his or her bino case to meet their exact needs.

The Bino EZ has an MSRP of $129.99.

Bino X2

The next generation of the Bino X, this model brings the enhanced modularity to the tried-and-true X2 platform. In addition, we’ve improved the opening, making for a better, tighter magnetic closure.

The Bino X2 has an MSRP of $139.99.

Bino Mag 2

The beast of the lineup also sees a series of upgrades. Offering the highest degree of weather and dustproofing, the Bino Mag 2 features an improved mouth opening, that stays securely open when needed but provides an exceptionally well-sealed barrier when closed.

The Bino Mag 2 has an MSRP of $149.99.

In addition to the new cases, Badlands is also launching the first wave in modular accessories to help hunters make the most of their binocular case.

The RF Case is a simple buckle-closure case perfect for the laser rangefinder. Quiet lining and a single MOLLE attachment stick makes this a simple addition. $24.99 MSRP.

The RF Mag Case is a magnet-closure case for your laser rangefinder. Quiet liner and a protective tether point accompany the single MOLLE stick attachment. $49.99 MSRP.

As the name implies, the Bear Spray Holster is designed to hold your CS spray dispenser where it’s easy to access should the need arise. Designed for either side- or bottom-mounting, the Bear Spray Holster is a rock-solid platform for a pretty important piece of gear. $29.99 MSRP.

Then there’s the Everything Pouch, which is a simple stretch-mesh pocket designed for, well, everything. From cell phones to radios to GPS units to candy bars, the Everything Pouch does it all. $24.99 MSRP.

The Bottom Pocket straps right onto the bottom MOLLE points and is a great choice for LRFs or anything else you may need quickly and quietly. $29.99 MSRP.

In response to customers who want a hydration bladder but weren’t fans of the old system, we offer the Tap Pack.  This is a slim, backpack-like platform that mounts onto the bino harness. It totes all sizes of hydration bladders into the field, but quickly detaches for sitting in stands or those silent stalks. $89.99 MSRP.

The entire line of binocular cases and the first wave of accessories are expected to be in stores and online in Q2 2023.For more information on Badlands and our complete line of men’s and women’s hunting gear and apparel, please visit www.badlandsgear.com.
