World IBO Championships at Cacapon State Park

Berkley Springs, West Virginia, is noted for its world-class water, but this week, arrows will be flying at the nearby state park as the host of the World IBO Championships. The IBO (International Bowhunting Organization) World Championship will be held at Cacapon Resort State Park in Berkeley Springs, West Virginia, from August 7-10, 2025. The event is expected to attract over 3,000 archers and guests from around the world. Cacapon Resort State Park will be transformed into an extensive archery range for the competition, which will feature various divisions and courses designed to simulate hunting scenarios. 

The IBO World Championships are one of the most prestigious events in the archery community, attracting top-tier athletes and avid archers from around the world. With its rich history, breathtaking landscapes, and exceptional facilities, Cacapon Resort State Park has been selected as the perfect backdrop for this highly anticipated event.

Over three action-packed days, archers will compete in various divisions, testing their skills and accuracy, pursuing the coveted title of IBO World Champion. Participants will navigate challenging courses designed to mimic real-world hunting scenarios, showcasing their precision and prowess with a bow and arrow.

Cacapon Resort State Park, nestled in the heart of the scenic Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia, boasts an array of amenities ideally suited to host an event of this magnitude.
