Thanksgiving Snow? How Cold Weather Affect Deer Movement

With firearm seasons a few days away, now is the time to take advantage of the recent cold front that dropped temperatures like a stone.  Of all the factors that affect deer movement, frigid temperatures are among the prime motivators to get deer up and moving.  Some bucks will still be cruising, yet most will return to a focus on food sources.  If you have a standing corn field, uncut bean field, or winter wheat stand near your hunting area, look for deer to be moving directly to feed, almost like early season.
